BIOGRAPHY

Spice Girls are a British girl band consisting of Victoria Beckham, Melanie C, Melanie B, Geri Halliwell, and Emma Bunton. The group gained populairty with their 1996 single “Wannabe”. Following the release, the band released two albums. Following Halliwell’s departure in 1998 the band recorded a third album as a four piece before disbanding. In 2008, they reunited as a five piece and released a greatest hits collection and a reunion tour. In 2012, they once again reunited for the London Olympics.


To celebrate their 20th anniversary Geri, Emma, and Mel B briefly reunited as a 3-piece named “GEM”, where one song titled “Song For Her” leaked, however, nothing materialized. In 2019 Geri, Mel B, Mel C, and Emma reunited and toured the UK.
